Discover the joy of being one’s true Self in the beautiful Perth Hills
In 2014, the United Nations declared 21st June of each year as International Yoga Day, in recognition of the benefits of yoga – a gift to humanity from India.
Yoga means ‘union’. Sahaja Yoga, which is an effortless, transformational meditation practised worldwide, means ‘spontaneous union’.
Sahaja Yoga was founded by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi to enable all who seek it to easily discover their Self, that part of their awareness beyond limitations of mind, body, feelings, or intellect.
Yet it also provides a tangible direct experience felt on one’s nervous system, relaxing the whole being and helping to clear out the clutter in one’s attention.
“Because this mind, which is just a bubble, as I told you, and is so limited, that it cannot comprehend the beauty, the glory, the expanse of reality.”
– Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi
The ‘union’ is experienced as pure joy in doing nothing, in the moment and without any thought.
Nestled lakeside in the Perth Hills, our unique Gidgegannup mediation centre is an ideal place for you to experience this joy, which is one’s true Self.
